Shipping

Where do you ship?

All of our products are shipped Worldwide via Colissimo, the French Post Office.  Shipping prices and delivery schedules vary with item and location.  If you have specific questions regarding pricing and shipping destination, please email us at shop@thecooksatelier.com   All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be paid in part or in full by The Cook’s Atelier for any reason.   

Please note, customs, duties and taxes charged by the destination country are not covered in the international shipping costs.  We are not able to provide estimates or reimbursements for these charges.

Our wines are shipped separately, via Cote d’Or Imports.  Please contact us for specific shipping rates and information for your country.

When will my order ship?

The Cook’s Atelier will process your order within 7 business days.  When your item is shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow the shipment.  All backorder items will ship as soon as we receive them in the shop.  Estimated arrival times in France are between 3-5 business days and 5-10 business days for International delivery.  Weather may be a factor.  Please keep in mind as with all things in France, shipping takes time. All items are insured.  Customs, duties, and taxes charged by the destination country are not covered in the cost of international shipping.  We cannot provide estimates nor reimbursements for these charges. How do you package your products?

We personally source, package and ship each order.  We take great care in communicating personally with each client.  We are big believers in attention to detail.  Each and every item coming from our boutique is beautifully and thoughtfully packaged like a gift.  We take pride in sharing a bit of our Atelier with home cooks around the world.

What currency are your prices in?

All prices are in euros.

How can I pay?

We happily accept payments via Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

 

Refunds & Exchanges

Are your products guaranteed?

Absolutely, given that you have handled it carefully, we will most definitely stand behind our products, please contact us for more information.

What is your return policy?

Please note that we typically do not offer refunds or returns, except in the case of damaged items.  If you’ve received a damaged item, we are more than happy to accept a return.  Please contact us immediately at shop@thecooksatelier.com, within 48 hours of your order being delivered.

Who styles and photographs your items?

All of our product photos are shot at our atelier in Beaune, France by Marjorie and Kendall, the mother-daughter duo behind The Cook’s Atelier.  If you’re interested in learning more or you’d like to chat about our freelance rates and availability, please send us an email.

The Cook’s Atelier only collects information on our customers for the sole purpose of order tracking and records keeping of orders placed online.  This information is limited to Customer name, address, email and telephone number.

The Cook’s Atelier will only contact you by phone in the event of a problem with a web order placed via thecooksatelier.com.

At no time does The Cook’s Atelier retain sensitive information such as credit card numbers.  The Cook’s Atelier does not share your customer information under any circumstances.
